1.Best time to visit Triund

Triund by Road:

By train: The second option is to choose railway services which are faster and cheaper. You can have pathankot train to reach Mcleodganj which takes you 6-7 hours and costs only 250/- also you can get sleeper coach with this price.
By Air: You can have flights to travel to Dharamsala and from there you can hire a private cab to reach Mcleodganj.

Day 2 | From McLeod Ganj your trekking will start to Triund.
Day 3 | You will trek around Triund – McLeodganj
Day 4 | Explore ancient devotional places at Dharamshala and McleodGanj and grasp a rest around cafes and take the overnight to reach your trekking initial place.
Day 5| Finally arrive at Triund trek,your destination spot and return to Mcleodganj.
You will have accommodation or can stay under tents which are priced between the range of 300-500 per one Adult. and you can carry it to trekking. Also, you can have a accomodation at forest rest house however booking is a hard thing. So, you need to book it advanced as no limited rooms are available. So, make sure you prearrange the accommodation facilities and food facilities.
4. Things you need to care of
As there are not many food options at Triund trek! Make sure you carry some fruits,dry fruits and energy drinks. And due to the few hotels’ presence the costs may reach high for everything you buy. Food is a little costlier than expected. So,to save money, you have to carry the above -mentioned items.
You need to carry a water bottle otherwise you will run out of water. If it is so,you keep your body hydrated which affects your trekking trip. Remember,if you are using plastic please throw it into the garbage which benefits the Himalayas a lot.
ATM availability is lastly available at Mcleodganj so,if you are not enough with the cash, draw it there, otherwise you will run out of money.
Mobile and signals at Triund are weak,the last strong mobile signals are available at Mcleodganj. So,if you don’t want to be disconnected then use bsnl sim which works best at Himalayan ranges.
5. About the Triund trek
Trek initial point starts from Mcleodganj and the last drivable place ends at galu temple. You can reach galu temple by cabs,buses,taxis etc. Or else you can start the trek from Bhagsunag waterfalls. It is offering its level of difficulty at an easy to moderate level. You can avail tea shops and small ration shops in between while trekking. You will be introduced to a magical view point at half way of your trekking and sunset and sunrise are the most worthwhile sightseeing situations.
